My "Book of Inspiration"
In my art space I only have room for a small pinboard for things that inspire me. Since I can't have a nice vision or mood board or whatever you want to call it, I came up with the idea to make a "Book of Inspiration". It is and will always be a work in progress. This is what this page is about...

Front
The base of the cover is packaging material to which I added some fabric, paint and texture paste. For the binding I've chosen book binding rings, because I want to able to add/remove pages at any time or sort them differently. I used alcohol ink to make them look old.

That's me about three years old
The first part of my "Book of Inspiration" is dedicated to my inner little girl. I made the little booklet you can see in the middle for her and with her. Remembering things I had forgotten. Using drawings I made when I was a kid and some other stuff that had been important to me as a kid; all found in my Dad's house. I also made some kid style drawings in Procreate and put them in there.

That's me about four years old

Birthday cards from my grandmother; also found at my Dad's house.

Old playing cards of games I loved as a kid and an old drawing.

Me, a few weeks shy of my sixth birthday in our garden.

I loved "Oblatenbilder" as a kid.

To be continued...
